Often regarded as “Apple of China,” Xiaomi is all set to launch its first-ever 108MP camera smartphone in Europe today. The Chinese handset maker has been teasing the smartphone for some time now on all the social platforms to drum up the hype for their upcoming smartphone.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10!
Dubbed as Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro (in China), this smartphone will be launched in the international market as the Mi Note 10. In the way of confirming things, the teasers released so far show that both the phones will get a similar design with the Penta-camera setup stacked vertically on the top left corner on the back.
Starts with Spain on November 6!
It’s worth mentioning that, a couple of months back, the Chinese handset maker teased Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL CMOS sensor at the Xiaomi Future Image Technology Communication Conference. As per the latest development, Mi Note 10 will launch in phases in Europe, starting with Spain on November 6, which is today. It’s worth mentioning that the Mi CC9 Pro was unveiled in China yesterday.
The company has released a teaser confirming the launch of Mi Note 10 in its official Twitter account, saying, “Welcome to the new era of smartphone cameras! Join our event to reveal the world’s first 108MP Penta camera. Live stream available, stay tuned!”
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 specifications!
The highlight of the Mi Note 10 is its 108MP Penta-camera setup. For this, the company has collaborated with the South Korean tech giant Samsung for the 108-megapixel ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor that promises to take ultra-clear and detailed photos. The Mi Note 10 is the second smartphone to sport five-camera setup right after Nokia 9 PureView.
Apart from the 108MP primary sensor, it is expected to have a 12MP secondary sensor for portrait shots, an 8MP telephoto lens with up 50x digital zoom, 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2MP for macro shots. The selfies are taken care of 32MP front camera.
Presuming Mi CC9 Pro as Mi Note 10 globally, it is expected to come packed with 6.47-inch full-HD+ OLED display, powered by Snapdragon 730G chipset, 6GB/8GB RAM and 5260mAh battery.
Setting up R&D in Finland!
Xiaomi has officially opened an R&D under the registered name – Xiaomi Finland Oy in Tampere, a city in southern Finland. This hub will focus on smartphone camera technologies, including camera algorithms, signal processing, machine learning, video, and image processing.
