Communications Specialist, Klarna
Klarna is looking for a communications specialist to join their Global Communications Media Response Team. This person will be responsible for monitoring news cycles and developing analysis and reports for a range of topics and issues related to Klarna. A key part of this role is keeping teams informed with real-time news updates in order to decide if a response is necessary (e.g. fact correct, comment etc), summaries of social media conversations, and media coverage trends, themes, and overall analysis.
You will be part of a global team responsible for Klarna’s overall media management, handling global media and social media responses on a range of topics related to the business and role in society, correcting inaccuracies and ensuring Klarna’s definitive company position is understood by external audiences. This is a foundational role focused on media intelligence and analysis that will support the work of the broader team to manage Klarna’s global media operations and strategies. The ideal candidate will excel at working collaboratively with colleagues and can consistently deliver high-quality work even under time constraints and moving quickly between different contexts and geographies. You should be interested in the news and up to date on current affairs and be familiar with using data analytics to inform media strategies.
Debt Finance Structurer, iwoca
iwoca started in 2012 and was born out of the frustration that small businesses lack the access to finance they need to reach their potential. Their belief then was that technology must enable people to significantly shorten the archaic 8-week bank application process which more often than not results in a ‘no’. Nearly a decade later and they have served more than 50,000 businesses across the UK and Germany with more than £2 billion of finance.
They are currently hiring for a debt finance structurer to join their capital markets team in London to support the origination and execution of private asset financing transactions. The successful candidate will collaborate with the team manager and the rest of the Capital Markets team in the origination, structuring and execution of financing transactions. They will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of marketing and due diligence materials, including coordination with other internal teams such as fintech, credit, product and sales;
Cash flow modelling activities with a key focus on using Excel and VBA.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working in securitisation with focus on funding and structuring; such experience may have been obtained in investment banking, direct lending or at a rating agency. They will have demonstrable experience in project management and the execution of transactions from start to finish.
