Riccardo Osti has decided to step down as the CEO of Wonderflow after over ten years. Osti described the transition as emotional, expressing a mix of sadness, pride, gratitude, and excitement for the company’s future.
Osti’s journey with Wonderflow began in 2014 when he and CTO Giovanni Gaglione relocated to Amsterdam with ambitious dreams and minimal resources. Since then, the company has grown substantially, claims Osti.
In a LinkedIn post, Osti says, “Seeing our dreams become real has been amazing, and I have to thank everyone who contributed to it. Thank you to the hundreds of people who worked with us over this decade.”
Osti mentions that co-founder Michele Ruini will take over the role of CEO starting today. Gianluca Ferranti will join as COO, forming a new leadership team to guide Wonderflow into its next decade.
Osti will continue to support the company in a public representation role, shaping its long-term vision, and serving on the board of directors.
“A special thank you to our investors who supported us with nearly $25M, especially Mr. Steven van Houwelingen, the first to believe in me. The greatest thank you to our customers and partners, with a hug to Ms. Oda Heerema-Snoep, who saw the potential of our solution years before VoC became mainstream,” adds Osti.
