World Startup Factory, a startup incubator located in The Hague, has just introduced 10 new startups to the public. The selected startups will be part of the Impact Accelerator, being active in the five following fields: Smart City, Health & Ageing, Security, Smart Building, and Mobility. These startups originate from different countries all across the globe, choosing The Hague as a launchpad to European markets.

The Hague Tech

The startups presented their pitches for the first time on stage at The Hague Tech building in The Hague. The selected companies are Clensta, Decibel.Live, YazamTec, Evalk, GIBBON, ModelMe3D, mycleancity, Organic Love, QdepQ, and Qlikchain. World Startup Factory’s impact program was developed in co-operation with many different partners: The City of The Hague, The Hague Security Delta, Health Valley Netherlands, SPIE, KPN, and many other local and international companies.

Quality over quantity

Egbert Ottevanger, co-founder of World Startup Factory: “It’s great to see that our aim of quality over quantity worked out well for Impact Accelerator #3. We have on-boarded ten very interesting startups. It’s also remarkable that more and more startups approach us for support and advice outside the official application period. We know that startups aren’t seasonal fruits; they need support all the time, the whole year long. Therefore, we have recently developed a so-called fast track program.”

Meaningful and inspiring companies

It is all about meaningful and inspiring companies, according to Brian Gharibaan, founder of The Hague Tech: “The Hague is Impact City, an environment where entrepreneurs, government, and talent support each other to build meaningful and inspiring companies. When I want to discuss and launch great ideas, it’s here where I feel home and it’s here where I find my strong partners.”
