Dublin-based Accenture, a company that offers consulting and IT services, announced on Tuesday, May 9, that it will acquire Objectivity, a Coventry-based (UK) digital engineering firm that specialises in cloud and platform development services.
The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Other recent acquisitions of Accenture’s Platform Engineering Services include HeadSpring, Fairway Technologies, and Imaginea, among others.
Digital transformation specialists
Objectivity is a global IT business with British roots. The company claims it has been assisting its clients through digital transformation by utilising the most recent technological advancements and creative ideas.
The firm collaborates with clients from a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, health and social care, and more. Its digital transformation solutions include desktop and web apps Internet of Things, big data, machine learning, proactive maintenance, and support.

Currently, Objectivity has a team of over 900 people and continues to grow.
Aim of the acquisition
Accenture says it will welcome Objectivity’s “highly-skilled” staff and bring additional scale and resources from Objectivity’s operations in the UK, Poland, Germany, and Mauritius.
