Amsterdam-based MessageBird enters into strategic partnership with SparkPost to provide integrated communication solutions

In a recent development, MessageBird, a cloud communications platform has announced a strategic partnership agreement with SparkPost to extend the communications channels available to businesses.

With this strategic agreement, San-Francisco-based SparkPost will offer MessageBird platform to its clients, whereas the MessageBird will make SparkPost’s email capabilities available to their customers through its Programmable Conversations API.

By making the world’s most popular channels available via a single platform, MessageBird is taking the heavy lifting out of customer communications,” said Robert Vis, CEO and Founder of MessageBird.

Post this agreement, businesses of any size will have seamless access to an even broader range of communications solutions to enhance customer engagement.

Founded by Adriaan Mol and Robert Vis in 2011, MessageBird is the Amsterdam-based cloud communications provider offering SMS, Voice and Chat solutions that enable developers and enterprises to communicate with customers in virtually anywhere. So far, the company has raised over €54.7 million funding in 2 rounds.

SparkPost is the world’s leading email sender and serves high profile customers like Microsoft, Atlassian, Zillow, LinkedIn, and Oracle to dramatically increase email performance. Based out San Francisco, the company was founded by George Schlossnagle and Theo Schlossnagle in 2008. The company has totally raised € 59.1 million in funding.
