Amsterdam-based Bundleboon, an online curated shopping service that specialises in kidswear, announced on Thursday, February 23, that it has gone bankrupt.
The company was declared bankrupt on February 14.
“Although times are tough at the moment and emotions are high, I am forever grateful for everything we achieved during the amazing 5 years of running our first startup,” Bundleboon’s founder Nelli Jeloudar mentions in a LinkedIn post.
“There were many highs and many lows, but damn! What a ride!” she adds.
The company didn’t disclose the reason behind the bankruptcy. However, Bundleboon was looking to raise around €4M in funding last year.
Nelli Jeloudar says she will be moving to Copenhagen for new endeavours.
Bundleboon: For the new generation parent
Founded by Monique Janke and Nelli Jeloudar in 2018, Bundleboon was a curated shopping service tailored to suit the needs of the new generation of parents.
The startup offered parents a collection of exclusive brands and personalised outfits uniquely styled for their children.
In 2020, Bundleboon received €500,000 from well-known entrepreneur and investor Pieter Schoen in the Dutch Dragons’ Den programme.
