Amsterdam-based longform.ai, a UvA spin-off, developing a subscription-based AI service, announced on Thursday, July 4, that it has secured €300K from Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland.

Online conversations, such as podcasts and webinars, are rapidly growing and becoming increasingly important sources of information for analysts, researchers, and business decision-makers.

This presents a new challenge: with thousands of hours of relevant conversations, it’s difficult to extract the truly important elements.

Here’s where longform.ai tackles this challenge by using cutting-edge generative AI.

Pim Stouten, Co-Founder of longform.ai, says, “Being fully informed about the markets, companies, and topics relevant to you is a growing challenge. By compressing audio such as podcasts and webinars into searchable and combinable insights, longform.ai makes the life of analysts and researchers a lot easier.”

Founded by Paul Groth and Pim Stouten in 2023, longform.ai is developing a platform that deploys generative AI to extract insights from large amounts of audio data.
