Having said that these startups are not merely conceptualising ideas but are actively showcasing the tangible impact of their technology. 

As a result, they are garnering attention from investors who are inclined towards supporting disruptive technologies that redefine established norms.

At present, a bunch of Amsterdam-based startups are actively engaged in fundraising campaigns, seeking capital injections to accelerate their growth trajectories.

Amsterdam-based Golden Egg Check, a startup analyst helps keep track of all startups, scale-ups, and VC deals. It offers an online tool to assess companies’ potential, feasibility, and investor readiness. 

The company aims to make the Netherlands the No. 1 startup ecosystem in Europe by providing data, insights, and networks within the (Dutch) tech and VC ecosystem.

Founded by Friso Schmid, Startup Fountain is an open fundraising platform offering free introductions for startups and investors. It charges no success fees and the sign-up is free of charge too.

The company’s offering helps build a circular future, allowing more and more people to access, instead of buying, the products they occasionally need.

Magic Lane is a software platform that offers Maps, Location, and navigation services. 

The Amsterdam startup combines qualitative maps and data sources with smart algorithms, allowing micro-mobility companies to quickly and efficiently build personalised services.

The platform does it by leveraging Open Street Maps and some 2000 other open-source map resources and live data resources. 

The company also offers various software development kits (SDKs), allowing developers to use their front-end and map styles per operating system – iOS, Android, Javascript, QT, Linux, Flutter, and C++.

Willicroft provides plant-based cheese for dairy cheese lovers. The Amsterdam-based company has created various plant-based cheese products and claims they taste real. 

In addition, the company aims to innovate to reduce its carbon footprint and help the dairy industry change more sustainably. 

It is the first company in Europe to be awarded a B Corp certification for its production of alternative cheese products and thus supports this ambition.

SeaO2 is an ocean carbon removal company committed to reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by harnessing the potential of the oceans on a gigaton scale. 

The Amsterdam-based company uses electrochemical oceanic carbon capture technology to treat water, capture its CO2 content, and return the treated water to the surface layer of the ocean to continue absorbing more CO2.

The Bubble Barrier is a curtain of air bubbles created by pumping compressed air through a perforated tube that is placed at the bottom of the canal. 

The rising bubbles form an upward current, which brings plastic to the surface of the water. The 

Bubble Barrier works 24×7 and does not interfere with shipping or wildlife.
