Last update:

To curb the spread of coronavirus, all non-essential public places were shut down. While the move was necessary, it did put a lot of financial stress on some establishments. Now, since the lockdown restrictions are lifting, people are eager to visit museums and other similar attractions. However, it is imperative to take certain precautions and this is where the world’s largest online booking platform for museums and attractions, Tiqets, comes in.

Tiqets announces new Recovery Package

Tiqets has announced a new Recovery Package for venues. This package is aimed at helping them keep up with new safety and communications demand without any additional costs, while recovering economically. The package is designed to help museums and attractions of all sizes adjust to new capacity, safety, and communications requirements.

The recovery package also consists of a new feature to increase revenue per customer. This should be beneficial since admittance capacity will start low and possibly with frozen budgets or furloughed staff.

“I’m incredibly proud of my team to launch a recovery package for venues designed to not only help them keep visitors safe as they reopen, but also to get back to operating even more efficiently than before. It’s our mission to make culture more accessible again by helping people rediscover and enjoy museums and attractions around the globe.” says Luuc Elzinga, President of Tiqets.

Manage visitor capacity, maximise revenues and more!

The new Recovery Package by Tiqets is capable of doing much more than simply increasing revenue. The company has expanded its time slot-based ticketing options, which will facilitate venues of all sizes to embed the Tiqets Booking Engine on their website. This will help establishments meet new capacity requirements in no time. Additionally, Tiqets is waiving commission fees for venues to use this platform, until they are financially stronger.

Tiqets has designed new bundle and upsell offerings, which will enable venues in a region to offer a joint package. This can be a more enticing deal for domestic customers and ensures more revenue for venues when capacity is restricted. Furthermore, Tiqets is rolling out new filters for consumers to assist them in their selections. These filters include updated opening hours, hygiene measures at the venues, and free cancellations.
