The Investor
Curiosity is an Amsterdam-based venture capital fund focused on early-stage investments in software companies in the Benelux, Nordics, and Baltics, that are building the next generation of AI applications.
Curiosity is headed by two experienced operator-investors – Herman Kienhuis (ex-McKinsey, ilse media, and KPN Ventures) and Maurice Beckand Verwee (founder of Crosspring).
The Dutch VC is also supported by a community of expert advisors and portfolio company founders, who all become co-owners of the fund.
Herman Kienhuis, managing partner of Curiosity, says, “In the B2B market, an increasing number of businesses take a digital, data-driven marketing and sales approach. Dreamdata offers a unique account-based analytics solution that customers love. We are very excited to support the founders in their ambition to grow Dreamdata into the global B2B marketing & sales analytics platform.”
Gathers, joins and cleans up the data
Founded in 2018 by Lars Gronnegaard, Ole Dallerup, and Steffen Hedebrandt, Dreamdata is a B2B revenue attribution platform.
It provides businesses with the necessary tools to measure the impact of their marketing and sales efforts on revenue.
The platform allows customers to track the entire marketing funnel and provide valuable insights on which marketing channels deliver the most profitable customers.
The Danish company claims that its existing customers have seen up to 70 per cent improvement in their effectiveness of B2B marketing spend, resulting in lower customer acquisition costs and increased revenue.
Google Analytics alternative
Besides the revenue attribution platform, Dreamdata launched Digital Analytics, a B2B-centered alternative to Google Analytics compliant with EU data privacy regulations, this year.
The tool tracks and measures website engagement at the account level and connects data from all major ad networks, including LinkedIn.
