Amsterdam-based Lleverage, an AI platform focused on process automation without developer input, has secured €3M in funding from European investor Peak

This round brings the company’s total funding to €5M, following a €2M pre-seed round in July 2024.

Founded less than a year ago, Lleverage is expanding its AI automation services for businesses in Europe, as Peak views Lleverage as a “standout” in the AI automation field.

An end-to-end AI automation platform

Lleverage is a platform that brings together AI, automation, and business logic to help teams run business processes.

Founded in 2024 by Dutch entrepreneurs Lennard Kooy, Badr Eddial, Tom van Wees, and Tim Beyer, the company is advised by figures such as Bob van Luijt, Chris Moojen, and Martijn Niessen.

Lleverage’s goal is to expand access to automation tools, allowing teams to focus on human-centred tasks.

The company expects the role of traditional developers to shift in the next five years. Its platform allows companies to create technical solutions using natural language, replacing work that once required full development teams. This model reduces time and cost, offering automation options to small and medium-sized enterprises.

Co-founder Lennard Kooy says, “We take a fundamentally different approach compared to other AI platforms. Rather than focusing on the technology itself, we concentrate on the underlying challenge: enabling business experts to automate their knowledge without getting lost in technical complexity. With Lleverage, describing the problem is all it takes to begin solving it.”

Lleverage has introduced “vibe automation”, a method that allows companies to build and visualise business processes using natural language.

Early users include Visma, Koninklijke Dekker, and insurer CCS, which have applied the platform to tasks such as turning market research into insights and reviewing documents for mergers and acquisitions.

The platform connects with over 2,000 tools, including Google Workspace, Microsoft, HubSpot, and Slack. By removing the need for technical input, Lleverage allows organisations to automate workflows quickly and use more of their time for planning, creation, and collaboration.

Capital utilisation

Lleverage will use the funds to accelerate the development of its platform. To support this phase, the company is targeting the top 1 per cent of talent—professionals driven to build at speed and contribute to its growth.

Lleverage aims to compete with major players from Silicon Valley and Asia, focusing its recruitment on individuals seeking to work on AI technology and advance the future of automation.

Thijs Dijkman, partner at Peak, says, “Lleverage meets all the criteria for a major new European tech innovation. The founders bring impressive experience, having collectively built and scaled companies across more than 10 countries, generating nearly €100M in annual revenue.”

“With a clear vision for accessible AI automation, Lleverage demonstrates what Dutch innovation can achieve by setting bold ambitions while solving real business problems at scale.”
