Amsterdam-based Techleap.nl, a non-profit publicly funded organisation aimed at accelerating the tech ecosystem in the Netherlands, announced the launch of the ‘Leading Entrepreneur in Tech’ (LET) Award.

According to Techleap.nl, the award is designed to recognise exceptional entrepreneurship within the Dutch tech industry and to give founders and their scaleups the recognition they deserve.

The LET Award has been inspired by the well-established ‘Leading Online Entrepreneur of the Year’ (LOEY) award, however, it aims to broaden the scope of recognition to include all areas of tech.

The jury for this year’s LET Award comprised some of the most renowned entrepreneurs in the Dutch tech industry.

The jury includes:

  • Corinne Vigreux, entrepreneur and co-founder of TomTom
  • Valentijn Bras, entrepreneur and investor
  • Job van der Voort, founder and CEO of Remote (who won the LOEY Award in 2022)

The jury will evaluate and select the Leading Entrepreneur in Tech for 2023 based on nominations and interviews. The award will be presented during Techleap.nl’s LET Award evening, which is set to take place on May 9.
