Manchester-based digital product consultancy Apadmi has acquired Pinch, a mobile agency based in Amsterdam.

The acquisition expands Apadmi’s presence in the Dutch market. The company now has over 450 mobile specialists across five offices in Europe. The team in the Netherlands includes 70 professionals working in design, development, and product.

Aim of the acquisition

Amsterdam’s Pinch, founded in 2010, is a mobile development company with clients including DPG Media, Qmusic, NRC, and Albert Heijn. It builds apps for companies in the media, mobility, and retail sectors, with a focus on the Benelux region. The company is active across the Benelux media industry.

Tim Klein Haneveld, MD of Pinch, says, “There’s such a good fit between Pinch and Apadmi in terms of our expertise and our ambitions. We are really excited about building on what we have created and taking that to the next level as part of a bigger group for both our clients and our people.”

Pinch will continue to operate with its full team from Amsterdam and will later integrate with Apadmi’s Dutch operations. No additional reorganisations are planned. The acquisition was led by Jasper van de Luijtgaarden, Director of M&A at Apadmi.

Van de Luijtgaarden says, “The momentum we have managed to create with our combination of organic growth and M&A is fantastic. And to find such a similar business with expertise in a new sector like media right on our doorstep in Amsterdam is really exciting.”

Delivering mobile solutions across Europe

Apadmi is a mobile-focused consultancy that designs, develops, and manages digital products for global organisations. The company supports clients by integrating systems and creating mobile solutions that shape how businesses operate.

Apadmi works with companies in sectors such as retail, utilities, telecom, financial services, and healthcare to define strategies and deliver mobile services. It builds platforms, middleware, and processes that support its clients’ operations. Its client list includes Domino’s Pizza, Co-op, NHS, BBC, Asda, ABN Amro, and Vodafone.

Founded in the UK, Apadmi expanded into the Dutch market in 2022 through the acquisition of The Mobile Company and further extended its reach in 2025 with the addition of Polish firm Droids on Roids.

Speaking on the latest development, Garry Partington, CEO of Apadmi, says, “We’re thrilled to be taking the next step in Apadmi’s continued growth. It’s a brilliant match that builds on our unique blend of mobile engineering and digital product expertise, while also giving us a strong foothold in new sectors.”
