London-based Bloom, a coaching app aiming to democratise access to coaching, has officially launched in the UK and the US following a seed funding round that secured $10M (approximately €9.33M).
Anticipating the onboarding of 100,000 users in the UK and US by 2024, Bloom claims to be building a content cloud of lived experiences to positively impact the lives and careers of millions.
The mobile-first app already received funding from investors including Octopus Ventures and MMC Ventures.

The Bloom app utilises advanced technologies such as AI, psychometrics, and behavioural science, combined with personal insights from industry experts.
It aims to provide accelerated professional growth by making career coaching accessible to a broad audience through frequent interactions with a global coaching team.
The app blends inspirational audio from industry leaders, scientifically backed insights, and regular check-ins with accredited coaches to unlock the full potential of individuals at work.
It fosters confidence, engagement, and enjoyment, contributing to more productive, energised, and happier workplaces – ultimately enhancing company performance.
The coaching app has already surpassed 10,000 coaching interactions.
A professional coaching platform
Founded in 2022, Bloom offers personalised motivation and guidance through short-form moments grounded in lived experiences. With real-life career coaches, the platform targets users at all career stages, aiming to accelerate personal development.
Bloom utilises AI, psychometrics, behavioural science, and human insight to offer personalised daily growth opportunities.
Bloom provides bite-sized inspiration from industry leaders at Apple, British Airways, Chanel, Goldman Sachs, Meta, Google, Visa, and Tiffany & Co. The company claims its influencer lineup, ranging from CEOs to Olympians, delivers actionable wisdom in a concise format.
CEO Alistair Crane says, “Career growth is broken, professional development isn’t high enough on the agenda, and career coaching is elitist. That’s why we’re revolutionising the coaching industry to provide coaching at scale, helping everybody, not just the few, to advance.”
“The incredible uptake we are receiving already tells me that people are desperate for help and there is a real need for a service like ours.”
“From a young age, I’ve benefited from the incredible leaders who shared their countless hard life lessons with me. They saw potential and gave me the motivation, confidence, and encouragement to pursue my passions.”
“Access to not just coaching but real lived experiences is unobtainable for most, and yet they can have a lifelong impact. I want to change that. Everyone deserves the opportunity to be inspired and helped to unlock their full potential. And let’s not forget, when your people bloom, your business grows,” adds Crane.
Brief about the Bloom team
Bloom’s CEO Alistair Crane and co-founder Jamie True have assembled a team with talent from companies such as Airbnb, The New York Times, Masterclass, Unilever, Salesforce, and Microsoft. The strategic counsel for this endeavour comes from an Advisory Board featuring David Langman, Chief People Officer at Goldman Sachs, along with Q Hamirani and L David Kingsley, both of whom held senior People leadership roles at Airbnb and Salesforce, respectively.
