Bitcoin Cash hackathon
One of the biggest names in the cryptocurrency space, BTC.com is organising Europe’s first ever Bitcoin Cash hackathon BCHDEVCON, which will take place in Rockstart HQ this month, in Amsterdam on 27 and 28 October 2018.

BCHDEVCON is a series of hackathons happening around the globe including San Francisco (October 10-11), Amsterdam (October 27-28), Israel, Japan, South Korea and India. The hackathon will be centred around Bitcoin Cash and participants will develop projects utilising new technologies such as issuing tokens, smart contracts.
In addition to serious learning, there will be plenty of time for developers to network and have fun. Show your talent, and you may even land a job in the blockchain industry in a weekend!

Event itinerary
The Bitcoin Cash hackathon starts with the discussion of rules, technical deep dive and team planning. In the afternoon, the 32 hours of non-stop hacking will kick off the event.
Developers can participate in either one of two tracks: the BCH Track (built on Bitcoin Cash) and the General Blockchain track (built on any blockchain/second layer solution of choice). In the end, the judging panel will evaluate the projects based on their usability, creativity and functionality.

Participants will compete for a total of €5,000 in prizes. Delicious food, refreshments, snacks and guess what else – drinks will be provided!
