This year, one of the world’s largest exhibition supporting visionary and innovative startups, investors and companies — the 4YFN awards are back at the leading tech conference MWC 2019.
While applicants from over 200 companies, five finalists were shortlisted after undergoing an intensive selection process.
These finalists were Carfit (France), NanoLock Security (US), Scoot Networks (US/Spain), Factorial (Spain) and 3DLOOK (United States).
Carfit (France): Carfit technology based on Artificial Intelligence and reads car vibrations to support and facilitate maintenance.
NanoLock Security (Israel): NanoLock Security technology provides a low-cost security and management solution to mitigate against malicious attacks ranging from ransomware to the manipulation of stored codes and configuration information.
Scoot Networks (US/Spain): Scoot is an application that provides shared electric vehicles on demand. The company owns different types of vehicles, including bicycles and motorcycles.
Factorial (Spain): Factorial technology automates human resource tasks, reduces errors, obtains global organization information and makes it visible through data analysis.
3DLOOK (United States): 3DLOOK uses new technologies, deep learning and 3D vision and scanning to transform the textile industry.
Of these, NanoLock Security has been announced the winner of 4YFN Awards 2019. The Israel-based startup has won €300,000 at the award ceremony in the Banc Sabadell Stage during 4YFN at MWC 2019.
Notably, NanoLock Security was founded in 2016 by Eran Fine and Shlomo Oren in New York City. The startup has raised around €4.1 million funding from Awz Homeland Security and ATOORO FUND.
The winner was selected after the five finalists presented their business ideas before the jury and an audience of over 450 people. Each company got five minutes to pitch their idea before the panel and were questioned for two minutes.
Besides the prize and award, the winning startup will also receive a slew of benefits that will be focused on its growth and development. Which include,
- Prize value of €300,000
- Free exhibition space at 4YFN Shanghai, 4YFN Barcelona or 4YFN Los Angeles

Also, all the five finalists have their exhibition area within 4YFN19 so that they can directly contact investors and representatives of the global startup space.
