In the current online world when everything is becoming highly complex, brands are continuing to evolve their online presence. They do so by providing cutting-edge user experiences and capturing a major share of web traffic.
London-based DeepCrawl is one of the world’s leading cloud-based technical SEO platform. Founded in 2010 by Michal Magdziarz, Chris Evans and Matt Jones, the company has developed a robust web crawler, which empowers marketers and SEO experts by providing them with actionable data-based insights that will diagnose and fix technical issues, improve website visibility, and win more organic traffic as well as revenue.
Secures €16.7M funding
Now, DeepCrawl has announced that it has secured €16.7 million Series B funding in an investment round led by Five Elms Capital and Beringea. The company has announced that it will use the newly raised funds for its R&D efforts and invest in establishing its commercial presence in the US. As of now, DeepCrawl has raised $25.8 million (nearly €23 million) via angel investments from Beaumont Capital and Series A funding led by Beringea.
“We’re excited to raise this round of funding in the US as 60% of our revenue comes from this region,” said Michal Magdziarz, CEO of DeepCrawl. “With increased user-generated content, websites are more dynamic than ever before and it takes just one incorrect code input to see declined organic traffic. This funding round will help us to continue expanding our solution offerings by focusing on integration as we streamline SEO management for brands.”
Focuses on US presence
While the company has offices in London and Poland, back in 2017, DeepCrawl opened its New York office and has grown since them by hiring more than 20 employees. The company has also signed new customers such as Ziff Davis, Yelp, and Kohl’s in the US. In April, the company intends to release its latest product, which will integrate customers’ marketing and engineering teams.
Strong portfolio of customers
DeepCrawl already has a strong portfolio of customers such as Nestle, IKEA, Publicis, GroupM, Shopify, and Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts. It is trusted by 54% enterprise brands and six major global agency networks. With this support, DeepCrawl aims to improve and monitor site performance across digital properties.
