Puławy-based eGabinet, a company that offers software for managing medical facilities, announced that it has secured PLN 2.4M (approximately €548K) in an additional funding round from business angels.

The company’s customer base has doubled in the last year, and the raised capital will be used to enhance platform functionality and offer tailored solutions for doctors, clinic owners, and patients.

A medical software provider

Founded in 2020, eGabinet revolutionises medical facility visits with its software, enabling online appointment scheduling and efficient documentation management.

The cloud-based platform responds to the evolving needs of patients, doctors, and medical facility owners, streamlining processes for enhanced convenience and time-saving.

Piotr Strychalski, CEO of eGabinet, says, “Our goal was to develop user-friendly and simple software that allows medical facilities to fully manage patient appointments and their documentation, thereby significantly facilitating the work of doctors and medical staff.”

“eGabinet software, based on cloud technology, enables almost instant access to data and patient history. Thanks to its full integration with medical systems, issued e-certificates and e-prescriptions reach the patient in a maximum of 14 seconds.”

“Over the past year, the number of doctors using our solution has doubled, and in response to their needs, we plan to add a range of new functionalities to our system. One of these will be an intuitive financial and accounting module, which will make it easy to manage budgets and control the financial liquidity of medical facilities,” adds Strychalski.

eGabinet, operating on a SaaS model, claims to stand out from traditional complex medical management systems. With its intuitive design and zero initial fees, it’s becoming a preferred choice for medical facilities, simplifying tasks for staff and enhancing patient care standards.

Strychalski says, “It’s important to highlight that our system not only streamlines the patient registration and service process but also enhances the overall functioning of the facility. What used to be a manual task of booking consultation rooms and surgical suites is now automated.”

“The system, upon recognising a specific examination, automatically reserves a room equipped with the necessary medical equipment.”

Capital utilisation

eGabinet secured its initial funding in 2020 from Netrix Ventures, enabling software refinement, team expansion, and widespread implementations. The recently concluded round ensures funds for introducing new functionalities and boosting sales efforts for the startup.

Adam Jerusalimcew from Netrix Ventures says, “eGabinet operates in the rapidly evolving market of medical facility management software. According to a report by Data Bridge Market Research, it was already valued at $6.8B in 2021 with a projected value in 2029 reaching $13.85B.”

“At the same time, the cumulative annual growth rate (CAGR) is estimated at 9.3 per cent, which shows a really broad perspective and numerous opportunities.”

Jerusalimtsev adds, “The aforementioned market, combined with the company’s impressive growth over the past two years, allowed the team to raise a high round of financing, despite the general slowdown in investment in our country.”

The recent funding for eGabinet is crucial for its dynamic development. In February, a new financial module will streamline financial processes for medical facilities. Additional software enhancements are in progress, with international expansion planned for the second half of the year.
