On Tuesday, Hückelhoven, Germany-based JTL-Software (JTL), a provider of e-commerce and multichannel software, announced that it has acquired Returnless, an Eindhoven-based company.
Returnless: Optimises returns management
Founded by Marijn Prijs and Chris Boer, Returnless develops solutions to optimise returns management. The platform helps online retailers make the returns process more efficient while gaining valuable data to optimise business processes.
“Joining the JTL ecosystem gives us access to their 50.000 (!!) merchants in Germany, securing the future of Returnless. We’ll remain a stand-alone company with our own culture, customers, and branding – while having the opportunity to scale faster than ever before,” says Prijs in a LinkedIn post.
The wide range of plug-and-play integrations ensures that online retailers can easily connect with various software solutions.
Using data analysis tools, retailers can gain important insights from return data to improve processes and lower return rates over time.
With this acquisition, JTL is expanding its portfolio with an important component. It will help online retailers build customer loyalty and cut costs.
The two companies will work together to create new solutions for the challenges faced in modern e-commerce.
“We are excited to become part of the JTL Group and bring our technologies into a broader ecosystem. Together we will redefine the standard for returns processes in e-commerce,” say Marijn Prijs & Chris Boer, both founders & managing directors of Returnless.
