Last update:

Paris-based Homerez, which was launched in 2014, has recently raised €6 million for the expansion of its app for vacation home rental owners across Europe and beyond. The €6 million funding has come from Seventure Partners, as well as existing investors Entrepreneur Venture and XAnge, and private investors Nicolas Brumelot, Frédéric Halley, David Roche and Pablo Szefner. Notably, this makes the total amount raised by the startup, so far, to €10 million.

Vacation homeowners get a friend in Homerez app!

With an aim to simplify the process of renting vacation homes for property owners, the app by Homerez allows the users to list their property on over 20 websites, such as HomeAway and It develops ads in five languages and broadcasts them on popular rental platforms like Airbnb or review sites like TripAdvisor. Besides, the app by Homerez offers booking management and contract signing services, as well as manages customer calls and provides e-mail responses.

The future looks bright!

With 6,000 signed up users in France currently and the 5-year goal to manage over 50,000 properties, Homerez is all set to be a trendsetter amongst the up and coming vacation rental platforms.

While talking about the market potential, Homerez’s co-founder Loïc Dupont said that unlike a few years back, people are now more willing to rent out their vacation homes. And, this has resulted in an increase in the availability of homes by a factor of 10.

Further, the startup is working on a new product for homeowners, which it will launch in January 2019.
