Google for Startups Accelerator: Europe was announced back in July by the search giant. The three-month program aims to help European and Israeli startups access Google’s products and experts so that they can grow and thrive. The Mountain-View based company has now announced nine participants, from six European countries, who’ve been selected for the program.

Google for Startups Accelerator: Europe goes digital

The Google for Startup Accelerator program will be hosted online this year. It will commence in early November with a group of Google engineers and experts from across the ecosystem. The aim here is to support the selected startups through 18 mentoring sessions and a slew of virtual workshops.

Topics that will be covered during the Google for Startups Accelerator: Europe include Google Cloud, the use of machine learning, the importance of leadership and soft skills development, along with setting up frameworks for defining and delivering on company objectives. Here are the startups that have been selected for Google’s Startup Accelerator program.

AppFarm (Norway): The startup offers a rapid application development platform, which enables companies to create tailored, cloud-based applications in days, without high development costs.

CodeBerry (Hungary): Coding could be challenging to get into, but this startup offers an online coding school, which teaches coding to non-English speakers in a ‘fun and interactive’ manner.

Deepstash (Romania): Making the information overload less chaotic is the startup Deepstash. The company offers an AI-powered, personalised hub of articles, stories and ideas in a simple format.

Infermedica (Poland): Infermedica offers a suite of solutions to collect health intake data, check symptoms and guide patients to the right care.

MilkStrip (Israel): The startup has designed a test strip that is capable of checking the nutrients and quality of breast milk.

SQIN (Germany): SQIN makes it easy to help people match their skin type with the right beauty products. The company’s app uses AI to do so.

Sundose (Poland): There might be times when meals don’t fulfil your nutritional requirements. Sundoes is a manufacturer of data-driven diet supplements that provide an accurately tailored health formula for each customer.

Xeropan (Hungary): Xeropan enables its users to learn the English language by ‘gamifying’ the process, using AI.

Yosh.AI (Poland): Using AI in the automation of customer service is a fast and efficient way to help clients. Yosh AI does the same by enabling automated customer service communication between companies and their users through AI voice and text assistants.
