UK-based Grwth, a company specialised in matchmaking services and strategic growth advisory, on Monday, announced the launch of its consumer venture fund — Grwth Ventures, marking a significant addition to the Grwth family.

‘Grwth Ventures’ will be added to the existing ‘Grwth’ brand alongside ‘Grwth Club’ and ‘Grwth Advisory’ divisions that offer agency matchmaking and strategic growth support, respectively.

Jake Higgins, the founding partner of Grwth, says, ”Our business was founded on the premise that we would ‘unbundle’ the traditional VC model and rebuild it for the modern economic environment. That’s why we initially started with a service that matches start-ups with agencies of all disciplines.”

“We then built a prestigious fundraising advisory service that focused on bringing family offices into the consumer space. Grwth Ventures represents the final key step in the process,” he adds.

Grwth Ventures: Focus on consumer products and technology

Grwth Ventures will specialise in Seed and Series A stage investments, particularly within the consumer and consumer tech sectors.

The venture’s investment prioritises long-term viability over the conventional “growth at all costs” approach, aiming for sustainable growth models that ensure lasting success.

The company seeks to align valuations with realistic exit multiples, investing patient capital in businesses with robust underlying economics.

The new fund is backed by a £5M (approximately €5.8M) cornerstone investment from MNC, an employee-owned media planning and buying agency.

Joe Benn, founding partner of Grwth says, “We’ve been delighted with the strong demand from potential backers, but the alignment with MNC is second to none. They have deep experience scaling consumer brands into household names. Andrew and Daniel have been fantastic to

work with to get this venture over the line. We’re excited to get investing and it is great to have a head-start on deal flow given the work we’ve been doing supporting hundreds of start-ups over the last two years.”

Beyond providing financial support, Grwth Ventures offers a wealth of resources through its expansive network. For startups and scaleups in need of marketing or technical services, Grwth offers an agency matchmaking service at no cost.

In addition, Grwth runs an advisory practice tailored to help startups raise investment from family offices in Europe and the Middle East. They also provide a range of non-executive services for the C-suite and board level.

“A huge thank you to Jake Higgins and Maddie Pogson for all the hard work, very excited to be working closely with our cornerstone investor MNC, and thanks to Joelson | B Corp for pulling it all together,” concludes Benn.
