Last update:

London-based Hotel Manager, a startup that powers future-ready hotels to launch, manage and operate their own custom interface, announced on Monday that it has raised an additional £2.2M (approximately €2.52M) in funding.

The round was led by Fuel Ventures alongside existing investors Pitchdrive VC, CORE Angels Lisbon, Boost Fund, StartupIst Ventures, and angel investors across the hospitality and technology industries.

The company says the fresh funds will be used to speed up expansion and boost growth across enterprise hotels.

The funds come only months after the company received £1M (approximately €1.14M) in funding.

With the latest round, Hotel Manager has increased its seed round investment to £3.2M (nearly €3.67M), giving itself the resources needed to drive rapid expansion and improve its platform.

What does Hotel Manager offer?

Founded in 2020 by Ajwad Hashim, Gokulan Kannan, Jay Luarca, and Agni Ilango, Hotel Manager helps forward-thinking hotels of all sizes to function on modern infrastructure without the need for an IT department.

It provides a customisable suite of solutions that increase efficiency, develop new income sources, and deliver “exceptional” guest experiences, ranging from commerce and check-in to chat and experiences.

According to Hotel Manger, hoteliers are now able to develop their own guest-facing interfaces to provide a new channel of communication, promote internal services, and draw a variety of revenue streams through commission-based experience booking revenues.

In terms of operations, Hotel Manager offers staff a solution that was created with specific needs in mind, assisting with the transition away from WhatsApp and Excel spreadsheets.

Capital utilisation

Hotel Manager says that the raised funds will help the company to continue its rapid user base expansion and further penetrate international markets. It will also allow the team to grow, employ crucial team members, establish strategic alliances, and increase user growth.

Hashim says, “With this round of funding, we have the fuel to realise our ambitions to enable innovation in hospitality and create memorable experiences for guests and hotel staff.”

“We have exciting plans to accelerate our growth, deepen our enterprise client base, expand our award-winning product and continue to serve the new breed of hotel owners and operators globally.”
