Improving hotels’ online performance
Founded in 2018, Userguest aims to bridge the gap between hotels and emerging technologies by enhancing their online performance.
The company offers a tool that combines technology, marketing expertise, and sales techniques to support hotels in increasing direct bookings.
Userguest’s solution features personalised notifications, social proof messages, smart pop-ups, an interactive dashboard, and automated data-driven recommendations, all designed to improve user experience and boost conversion rates.
The company’s team comprises marketing professionals and industry experts with experience from major companies like Expedia, Booking.com, and Google, ensuring hotels can implement effective practices on a budget.
“We guarantee that your hotel can benefit from the same practices as these major platforms, even on a lower budget,” mentions Userguest on its website.
According to Hospitalitynet, currently, the Amsterdam-based company operates in over 30 countries and has generated more than $100M in direct revenue for hotels since its inception.
Capital utilisation
With the new funding, Userguest plans to accelerate its growth, expand its team, and enhance its product offerings to meet the needs of the hospitality market.
Userguest’s co-founder, Hicham Benyebdri, says, “This investment underscores our investors’ confidence in our vision to create an automated tool that optimises conversions and revenue for hotels. Having solidified our market presence and earned the trust of leading hotel brands, we are now ready to elevate Userguest to new heights, enhancing hotel performance while enriching user experience, benefiting both hoteliers and travellers alike.”
Co-founder and CTO, Ahmed Chami, adds, “In addition to expanding our sales efforts, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of several exciting features designed to enhance direct bookings and revenue via hotel websites.”
