Amsterdam-based Joanna Invests, a women-led investment firm for female founders, has announced the official launch of its package deal aimed at investing €5M in female founders.
The company wants to make investing in startups easy and accessible to a wide group of women through lower ticket sizes than normally required.
This move aligns with Joanna Invests’ mission to democratise and simplify the investment process for female entrepreneurs.
“For women that want to invest in women that change the world”
Claire Tange, founder of Joanna Invests, is on a mission to democratise investing and bridge the gender funding gap.
Drawing on her extensive background as CFO for startups like Fastned and Dott, she advocates for easy access to investment opportunities.
Joanna Invests specialises in funding early-stage female-founded companies in Western Europe, with a keen interest in ventures that contribute to positive societal impact.
Joanna Invests goes beyond funding, tapping into its community’s expertise to bolster startups on their growth journey. Investors are invited to join this supportive community, recognising and backing the potential of female entrepreneurs.
Capital utilisation
Claire Tange, founder of Joanna Invests says, “I am super proud to offer this new package deal proposition. We are off to a great start as we have already commitments for 20 per cent of the first tranche of €500,000 in just a month after launch.”
“The pipeline of female founders looking for funding is strong, proven by the fact that we have received over 100 requests since the start of Joanna Invests in 2022. We can’t wait to start investing in them,” adds Tange.
Since March 2022, Joanna Invests has built a portfolio of five startups, including We Are Eves, Quan, Peekabond, Ozarka, and tex.tracer. Its community boasts 400 members, with 90 per cent being women.
Currently, the firm presents investors with the chance to construct their personalised portfolio of female-founded startups.
Introducing a new package deal to the offering, participants can gain exposure to five diverse startups with just one transaction, requiring a minimum investment of €10,000.
