Two musicians, Maeve (Arianna Broderick) and John Clancy, announced on Monday the launch of Myvox, a platform integrating AI technology into music creation.
Created by artists for artists, the London-based platform offers AI tools to the next generation of music creators, allowing them to licence and monetise their own AI voice models.
This approach gives artists full control over the creative process while making music production more accessible and collaborative.
How does the platform help artists?
Myvox claims it is addressing the needs of aspiring music creators.
It boasts a rapidly expanding and high-quality voice library, granting bedroom producers access to voice-driven music production. This empowers emerging artists to craft music that was previously beyond their reach.
By nurturing emerging talents, Myvox says it is even giving rise to new musical genres. Importantly, the platform prioritises artists’ protection, ensuring a secure environment for collaboration.
One of Myvox’s unique features is its role as the pioneer in enabling artists to licence AI voices and distribute their creations across major streaming platforms.
This level of control also allows artists to embrace AI’s potential while safeguarding their artistic autonomy. In turn, Myvox says this empowers artists to embrace the potential of AI while maintaining their creative control.
Launch of Dahlia
Myvox has launched its first AI artist, Dahlia, a creation of renowned artist Sevdaliza.
Dahlia allows creators to transform their vocals using the AI voice model and release music on streaming platforms with 50 per cent of royalties going to Sevdaliza.
Dahlia, introduced through the “OH MY GOD” video, represents the world’s first femenoid robot and showcases the convergence of technology and artistry in music.
Dahlia was built over two years using various materials such as metals, hard plastics and silicones for the face. Dahlia symbolises Sevdaliza’s ideal self and reflects her struggles, societal pressures, and expectations faced by female artists.
The debut Dahlia track is scheduled for release on August 24.
Brief about Myvox
Myvox stems from the founders’ experience as bedroom producers and singers, overcoming financial limitations and limited access to studios.
They founded Myvox to democratise music creation, offering a platform that makes music production accessible to a wider audience. The aim is to lead a transformative initiative that empowers aspiring musicians and reshapes the music production landscape.
