Solsten: What you need to know
Founded by Joe Schaeppi and Bastian Bergmann in 2018, Solsten helps companies create more engaging, livelier, and healthier digital experiences through the analysis of human psychology. The company is currently headquartered in Minneapolis, US.
Through its AI-based platform, Solsten allows brands to understand their customers on a deeply human level and create experiences that truly resonate.
The company’s technology offers insights from its three core elements – Traits, Navigator, and Frequency.
- Traits provide a deep understanding of an audience’s psychological make-up and personality,
- Navigator helps to identify a product’s best future audience.
- Frequency is used to predict how creative ideas will resonate with their audiences.
Solsten’s platform is used by many international gaming studios and publishers, including MobilityWare, Mythical Games, Sky Mavis, Super Evil Megacorp, Starbreeze, Tilting Point, and Wooga.
Joe Schaeppi, co-founder and CEO of Solsten, says, “There’s a deficit in the level of human understanding that goes into products as they have been made to date. This lack of understanding regarding the human beings behind the behaviour that is being tracked so rigorously in apps has led to many digital experiences that are both unhealthy and suboptimal for users as well as businesses by not being mutually sustainable. However, when technology is built in a heartfelt manner, through deep audience understanding using Solsten, engagement with digital products becomes mutually beneficial and profound.”
“That is why at Solsten, we’re advancing the ability for technology to understand human psychology and sociology all while keeping individual users completely anonymous. We support companies building the future of our digital world so that they can confidently architect the next generation of digital experiences knowing that they’re both highly impactful for their audiences and great for their business,” he adds.
