Amsterdam-based Anywyse, an audio learning platform, announced on Wednesday, March 8, that it has released a podcast created by using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology on International Women’s Day.

Based on the idea of Lisa Jukema, co-founder and COO of Anywyse, the 15-minute podcast was created using AI technology by transforming text into an audio-learning module.

“We are excited to be releasing this podcast in honour of International Women’s Day,” says Jukema.

“We believe that education and awareness are key to promoting gender equality and empowering women, and we hope that this podcast will help to spread that message,” she adds.

Significance of International Women’s Day

This podcast aims to educate and inform listeners about the significance of International Women’s Day and why it is essential to provide support and empowerment to women in all spheres of life.

The podcast covers a range of topics related to International Women’s Day, including the history of the day, the achievements of women globally, and the ongoing struggle for gender equality.

It also features stories from women who have made significant contributions to their respective fields and provides resources for listeners who want to get involved in supporting women’s rights.

Jukema, who had prior experience in the Learning & Development department at Tesla, recognised the importance of promoting awareness and knowledge about International Women’s Day.

To achieve this goal, Jukema decided to employ Anywyse’s AI technology to create a podcast that would educate individuals about the significance of this special day.

“I believe it is essential to spread the message of International Women’s Day and to educate people about why it is so important,” says Jukema.

“Using our AI technology to create this podcast was a natural fit for us, as we are always looking for innovative ways to use technology to promote education and learning,” she adds.

Currently, the podcast is available on the Anywyse platform and can be accessed here.

Anywyse: Audio learning platform

Anywyse is an Amsterdam-based audio-learning platform where everyone can become a creator. The platform provides students with audio modules of 10-15 minutes called Wysers.

These modules are written and voiced by selected students and voice actors. The Wysers are built on a format created primarily for memorising material rather than the more “linear listening” found in podcasts.

The company was formed during the acceleration programme of the Humanities Lab, University of Amsterdam. The Humanities Lab offers a platform for education about entrepreneurship and is aimed at staff, Ph.D. students, students, and alumni.
