Amsterdam-based Startupbootcamp, a startup accelerator that provides investment and mentorship services, announced on Friday that  10 startups will participate in the first cycle of its Renewable Energy & Net-Zero Programme, a part of the Bold Action initiative.

Bold Action is a portfolio of 90 impact-focused startups, tradable on the Dutch stock exchange via Nx’change.

According to the startup accelerator, around 20 teams were selected for the Selection Days event from the pool of 2,000 applications.

Subsequently, during a three-day digital event, the selected teams were allowed to present their ideas to a tailored panel of investors, industry leaders, mentors, partners, and the Startupbootcamp team.

How will it benefit the startups?

The accelerator programme offers extensive support in establishing a thriving business, from developing a product to securing funding.

Startupbootcamp says, “Participants will benefit from the wisdom of seasoned industry mentors, expand their network, and tap into a group of potential investors.”

The programme also equips startups with the tools necessary to accomplish their objectives, grow, and realise their full potential.

At the end of the programme, the final event named Impact Day will be hosted, where the selected founders pitch and present their startups to a tailored audience of mentors, partners, and investors.

Impact Day will take place on June 1, 2023.

Registrations are open here.

Kauan Von Novack, Global Managing Director of Startupbootcamp, says, “The energy transition is one of the main challenges we face as a society nowadays. At Startupbootcamp Global, we believe talented founders leveraging the right technology will lead this transformation. That’s why we will heavily invest in renewable energy and net zero startups over the next few years. Today was just the start of this journey. Over the next ten years, we will invest in 100.000 startups that will reach the UN’s SDGs together, and we invite anyone to join us in this fantastic journey.”
