Austria’s Storyblok secures €73.6M to build its first end-to-end content platform powered by AI and automation

Linz, Austria-based Storyblok, the modern content management system (CMS) for all teams, announced on Tuesday that it has secured $80M (approximately €73.6M) in a Series C funding round, bringing the total amount raised to $138M (approximately €127M).

Brighton Park Capital led the round, with participation from existing investors HV Capital, Mubadala Capital, 3VC, and firstminute Capital. 

The company will use the funds to accelerate its growth in the US and Europe further, enabling the company to build the first end-to-end content platform, powered by AI and automation.

In addition to the funding, the Austrian company also announced the public beta of the Ideation Room.

This provides teams with a centraliwed and collaborative space in Storyblok to develop new ideas together at the beginning of the creation process, utilising AI to enhance content and give it life.

Dominik Angerer, CEO and Co-Founder of Storyblok, says, “Consumers expect great and consistent content experiences wherever they are. But businesses are having a hard time keeping up. Our research found that 48% of businesses are embarrassed by their website.”

The announcement comes around a year after announcing a surge in its presence in the US.
