Convincing customers in the competitive real-estate market has become a challenging job. The Latvia-based proptech startup Giraffe360 has opted for assuaging this exigent task for real-estate companies. The startup specialises in high-quality digital imaging solution for showcasing properties.

Giraffe360 has just undertaken a capital influx of €1.1 million from Change Ventures. Earlier, the startup secured around half a million in a seed funding round led by Koha Capital.

Andris K. Berzins, Managing Partner at Change Ventures shared, “We are excited to be backing Giraffe360. In a world of diminishing physical contact and rising online and e-commerce activity, consumers are demanding a better visual experience – and they have a right to.”

Berzins further added, “The property industry is experiencing unprecedented developments and agents who listen to consumer demands for a tech-led home-selling strategy are already seeing the benefits. London is at the forefront of the global proptech scene and we as investors have a strong belief in the Giraffe360 team and its ability within this market to lead change.”

Giraffe360 – photography with a precise floor plan

Through the Giraffe360 camera-laden device the finest photographs are automatically created by basting multiple HDR images. Featured with 50-megapixel resolution, photos are exportable in all the formats. This ensures a wide usage of images for any medium including large-scale print, billboards and web-ready files.

The photos are created just by pressing a single button of the Giraffe360 device. Further, the wide-angle images are proficiently edited by means of cloud-based dispensation.

The most accurate floor plans can be generated just in 2 minutes by the Giraffe360 advanced photogrammetric device laden with in-built laser.

Virtual tours of future homes

Giraffe360 enables property buyers to have a 3D virtual reality tour of properties created through its sensor-laden high-tech device featured with 270-megapixel resolution, laser and 190+ camera components.

Headquarter shifted to London

Giraffe360 was founded by Mikus Opelts in Latvia. Instigated in 2016, the proptech startup maintains clientele spread across eight European countries including the UK. Some of its worth mentioning clients include Hunters, John Taylors and RE/MAX.

The startup has shifted its corporate office from Latvia to London which is one of the tech hubs in Europe. Giraffe360 is looking forward to utilising the latest investment in developing the next generation cutting-edge technology and scaling operation in the UK and across the continent.

Giraffe360 CEO, Mikus Opelts expressed, “We are thrilled to be closing this funding round and to be moving our headquarters to the UK. London is one of the biggest real estate markets in the world and Brexit or no Brexit, London will remain one of the most well connected and diverse global cities, with a supportive business ecosystem and competitive market. I don’t believe this culture will change.”
