Startups are an integral part of success for any country and the Netherlands is no exception. With 8 per cent annual growth, startup jobs in the Netherlands are growing faster than any other individual sector, reports Techleap.nl. While many sectors have frozen hiring or contracted headcount due to pandemics, the number of startup jobs available in the Netherlands is still growing.
In this article, we have compiled a list of 12 Dutch startups that have raised more than €1M in capital in October 2021 and are currently hiring.
ChainCargo
Fundraised in October 2021: €1.75M

ChainCargo, a digital road freight forwarder, aims to make logistics more efficient and sustainable through technology. By knowing exactly where the available capacity is, goods are transported more efficiently and existing transport movements are used optimally.
The company uses existing transport movements or freight traffic that would otherwise return home empty. It reduces empty kilometers and CO2 emissions, and also enables competitive rates. The company also raised €1.75M in a fresh round of funding.

With its technology, a company’s financial data is quickly and carefully analysed to determine how much an entrepreneur can borrow responsibly. BridgeFund also allows entrepreneurs to know whether they are qualified for a business loan on the same working day.
The company raised €20M in growth capital from the Dutch family office, last month.

Delft IMP offers research & development services and licensing of IP on scalable production of nanostructured materials using Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD). The company works together with battery companies to extend the lifetime of batteries and reduce the consumption of scarce minerals.
The company raised €10M in its Series A round of funding from Nordic venture capital firm Sandwater and Invest-NL.

Seenons is on a mission to bring people together for a waste-free world. The company’s platform and supporting app allow business waste to be matched with a circular processor that upcycles it into new products giving it a new life. For example, coffee granules become soap, orange peels become orangello and many more. If there is no match, the technology ensures that waste is taken away most efficiently and sustainably.
The company raised €6M in its Seed round of funding led by Dutch venture capital firms Tablomonto and Capital T.
