In a recent development, Qover has announced that it has reached 20,000 users. Also, it was announced that a new office will be opened in Paris in the next few weeks. The startup has stated that it will hire a new team of marketing, business development and insurance professionals this year.

Ever since its debut, Qover has been transforming the way insurance products and services are designed and distributed. This is possible as the startup’s on-demand digital insurance infrastructure lets it build and deliver personalized insurance products for its users.

Qover’s insurance products

Some of its insurance products include travel insurance, rider insurance for couriers, car insurance, rental insurance for the landlords and more. The startup helps its communities by embedding additional insurance plans into its solutions.

Exponential growth

Lately, in 2017 and 2018, this insurtech startup has witnessed an exponential year-on-year growth of over 400%. France is witnessing an increase in the number of independent workers in the past decade. Eventually, this insurtech startup with expertise in the gig economy intends to grow rapidly reaching 50,000 users in the country by the end of 2019.

”We are thrilled to be launching in France, where the number of independent workers is growing at a considerably faster rate than the EU average,” said Jean-Charles Velge, Co-Founder of Qover. “Qover has invested heavily in new technology to offer flexible insurance options that address the needs of a rapidly changing economy. We cover more than 20,000 individuals across Europe, more than half of those living in France.”
