Of course, scaling up a business isn’t a piece of cake. If you’re working really hard to scale up and dealing with all kinds of new challenges, then Scale Up Café during Emerce eDay (October 10, 2019) is definitely for you.

What is Scale Up Cafe?

Taking place for the second time, the Scale Up Cafe is a platform where twenty fast-growing scale-ups in tech, e-commerce and digital media are given the opportunity to participate in meetings with top businesses and leaders.

Last year the meetings were held with CEO’s of the largest and/or most influential businesses in media, retail, fashion, tech and finance; CMO’s, consisting of the top 50 most important marketeers in the Netherlands; top tech entrepreneurs; the 10 biggest investors in the Netherlands; a group of coaches and advisors from the BIG4 and  special guests among Emerce eDay attendees.

The Scale Up Cafe 2019

The Scale Up Cafe organised by Emerce will select the new 20 fast-growing scale-ups in tech, e-commerce and/or digital media this year, carefully curated by their partners EY, Vectrix and Silicon Canals. The selected startup founders will have the chance to meet with clients, advisors, investors and business partners in a cosy setting at Café Stork on October 10th. The guests will visit the founders during meetings of twenty minutes each. After that, Emerce eDay 2019 offers a great venue for a  follow-up.

What can you expect?

The purpose of the event is that the entrepreneur goes home with new ideas, a potential business partner or maybe even a lead for funding. Both parties are asked in advance what they are looking for and what their expertise is, so that the Scale Up Café team can take care of curated matchmaking.

Meetings will take place between 10.30am and 12.30 pm. The high profile guests decide at the beginning of the morning which scale-ups they want to talk to. The afternoon can be used to follow up.
