Last update:

Netherlands-based FleetGO Group, a logistics software solutions provider, announced that it has acquired Dutch software provider Data2Track with support from Main Capital Partners.

This acquisition, the third since Main Capital Partners’ initial investment, will strengthen FleetGO’s product suite.

Sven van Berge, Head of DACH activities at Main Capital Partners, says, “The acquisition of Data2Track by FleetGO is a strategic and intelligent move.”

“Data2Track’s solutions will expand FleetGO’s portfolio, closing critical gaps and adding experienced professionals who will strengthen FleetGO’s market position as a leading logistics software provider in Europe.”

Aim of the acquisition

Data2Track has been making software solutions since 1995. The company specialises in cloud-based systems for managing fleets of vehicles. Its system helps with things like tracking vehicles, recording time, and has an app for drivers.

The company has about 420 clients, mostly in the Netherlands. Some of them include Verhoeven.eu, Schotpoort Logistics and Koopman Logistics, among others.

FleetGO provides various software solutions for managing transport, warehouses, routes, telematics, and fleets. The company claims to be strong in the DACH and Benelux regions.

By adding Data2Track’s cloud platform, FleetGO will expand its suite to include transport and order management, warehouses, asset tracking, route planning, telematics, tacho compliance, and fleet management.

Additionally, Data2Track’s Drivers App will improve FleetGO’s services for current and new customers. The merger of their products, expertise, and geographic presence, positions FleetGO to benefit from consolidation, economies of scale, technological integration, and growth.

Ronald van Tiel, CEO of FleetGO Group, says, “Data2Track is a perfect addition to FleetGO Group’s product range. The fleet management applications and the Drivers App fill a crucial gap, enabling us to offer a more comprehensive suite from a single provider. Our and Data2Track’s customers will benefit significantly from this enhanced offering.”

Rob Bouwer, Commercial Director at Data2Track, adds, “Joining forces with FleetGO allows Data2Track to advance to the next level. This integration combines two leading software providers, offering substantial potential and enabling us to maximise our capabilities within a larger group. The synergies created will provide significant added value to our customers.”

FleetGO Group, a logistics software company founded in 2010, specialises in warehouse, transportation, and fleet management solutions. After a strategic merger in 2022, the company has expanded its cloud-based platform to serve over 6,500 customers across Europe.
