#1 B.Building Business

B.Amsterdam is the hottest tech hub of the city. The B buildings are home to the most of the sizzling tech startups in the Netherlands. They started in 2014 in Amsterdam by Guus Meulendijks, Bas van Veggel and Ricardo van Loenen. They build a bridge between corporates, creatives and startups and bring all of them under one roof so that they learn from each other and grow together. As of them they have three buildings in the city and are building the biggest startup ecosystem in Europe scaling nearly 40,000 square metres. Recently the co-working space was also a part of an annual event — the Coworking Europe 2018 — which took place for three days last week and talked about the rise of coworking in Europe.

#2 WeWork

Founded in 2010 by Adam Neumann and Miguel McKelvey in New York, WeWork is one of the coworking spaces that is growing all around the world. They have buildings in many countries and are popular among clients as they offer a much friendlier, productive and chilled out workspace. Their clients not get to work together but also enjoy facilities such as yoga sessions, workshops and events. Till date, WeWork has raised a total funding of €10.3 billion from various investors SoftBank, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase and many others. Silicon Canals has personally visited the WeWork co-working space in Zuidas Amsterdam and the brand has aggressive plans to expand in the country.

#3 rent24

rent24 has two shared office spaces in Amsterdam, both at outstanding locations. The coworking space was founded in 2015 by Robert Bukvic in Germany. They intend to provide a relaxed and home-like atmosphere for the startups, entrepreneurs and freelancers. And, also offer a relax room in addition to a meeting room, private offices and open spaces with flex desk options. Besides the working environment, there are leisure activities as well.

#4 Merkspace

Merkspace was founded in 2015 by Sapir Spigel. They have coworking buildings in five locations in Tel Aviv and one building in Amsterdam and Amstelveen each. It is a shared workspace that connects startups, freelancers and both successful and emerging companies so that they learn from each other. All the members of the coworking space will be able to access facilities including parking spaces, garden, terrace, parking spaces, meeting rooms and business lounges. There are in-house restaurants and sports facilities with tennis courts for the members.

#5 Spaces

Founded in 2008 by Martijn Roordink, Rattan Chadha and Frederique Keuning in Amsterdam, Spaces is one of the fastest growing coworking spaces in the world spanning across hundreds of locations. Spaces was built with the idea of creating a community of thinkers, imagineers and achievers. It is open for corporates, entrepreneurs, project teams, well-established companies, startups, freelancers and business nomads. It just offers the workspace and lets them watch their businesses grow.

#6 TQ

TQ is a coworking space with its origin in Amsterdam. It is was founded in 2016 by The Next Web, a well-known media house located in the heart of Amsterdam. They work with future-proof partners including ABN-AMRO, KPMG and Google for Startups. The whole idea is to help push the tech startups towards exceptional growth by offering them with the right facilities, events and community. Like any other shared workspace, this one also provides a great opportunity for networking, after-work beer, barbecue and yoga classes.

#7 Primalbase

Primalbase is a coworking company founded in 2017 by a group of researchers and developers. It is aimed at revolutionising the shared workspace sector with the implementation of blockchain technology. Their clients can buy, sell, share or lease the memberships using Primalbase tokens from anywhere.
