Bonn, Germany-based Pagent.ai, a company specialised in AI-driven web experience optimisation, announced on Monday that it has secured $900K (approximately €857K) in a pre-seed funding round from HTGF (High-Tech Gründerfonds).

The German company will use the funds to expand the training and learning functionalities of its technology to include elements such as structure, design, and video content.

“AI is revolutionising how we communicate with customers online. It’s no longer enough to just build a nice landing page – every user needs to be addressed personally,” says Constantin Dißelkamp, founder and CEO of pagent.ai.

In an era of personalised advertising, users expect tailored content and experiences. Outdated websites can harm a company’s image and profitability.

pagent.ai: Hyper-personalising web experience

Founded by Christopher Helf and Constantin Dißelkamp, pagent.ai addresses this by providing an AI system that automates the creation and evaluation of A/B tests. This ensures that each user sees the most effective version of a website.

The company leverages the idea of using generative AI to create a web experience optimised to the needs and preferences of specific target groups, helping companies better achieve their marketing goals.

The AI system enables pagent.ai customers to “hyper-personalise” their web content.

The company combines language models with strategic marketing expertise and Bayesian statistics for continuous learning, merging robust experimentation with advanced AI technology.

Currently, the company is focusing on text and image enhancements.

According to the company, selected pilot customers are already using the AI solution and creating “pagents” that automatically optimise website elements, test variants, and display the best version to their users.

“Telecommunications and fashion e-commerce companies in particular are showing great interest in the automation solution. No matter what type of conversion target is involved – whether sales, newsletters, sign-ups, or video clicks. For any organisation with an online presence, there is great potential in marketing automation with AI to better achieve their goals,” says Christopher Helf, founder and CTO of pagent.ai.
