German company Parloa becomes Europe’s newest AI unicorn with €106M funding

Berlin-based Parloa, a company specialised in Agentic AI for customer experience, has secured $120M (approximately €106M) in Series C funding at a valuation of $1B.

The funding round was led by Durable Capital Partners, Altimeter Capital, and General Catalyst.

Based in the US, Durable Capital Partners invests in small and mid-cap companies in both public and private markets.

Altimeter is a leading technology-focused investment firm built by founders for founders.

Other investors, including EQT Ventures, RPT Capital, Senovo, and Mosaic Venture,s participated in the round.  

Fund utilisation

The German company will use the funds to accelerate the expansion of its operations across North America and Europe.

The company will also use the capital to invest heavily in new AMP capabilities and the recruitment of top international talent.

“This new funding accelerates our mission to expand the category-defining AI Agent Management Platform for enterprises,” says Malte Kosub, CEO and co-founder of Parloa.

Founded in 2018 by Malte Kosub and Stefan Ostwald, Parloa offers an AI Agent Management Platform that helps businesses create, test, and launch many skilled AI agents. These agents can have natural and personalized conversations with customers.

The company aims to help enterprises reinvent customer service with Agentic AI.

According to the company, these agents undergo rigorous simulation testing, data isolation, content filtering, and monitoring before they’re ever launched in a live environment.

They can continuously learn and engage with customers through natural conversations, delivering satisfaction and strengthening loyalty with each interaction.
