London-based Perci Health, a virtual cancer care clinic, announced that it has secured £3M (approximately €3.5M) in fresh funding, bringing its total raised to £7.7M (approximately €9M).
The round was backed by Macmillan Cancer Support, Guinness Ventures, Conduit Fund, Octopus Ventures, and 35 senior NHS cancer specialists.
The new funding will help Perci:
- Expand its use of AI to improve patient support and experience
- Grow its team of specialists and reach more users across the UK
- Support research into better health outcomes and quality of life
The company is also aiming to work more closely with insurance providers and hopes to partner with the NHS in the future.
“Our mission to close the cancer care gap is powered by an outstanding team who are deeply committed to transforming the cancer care experience,” says Kelly McCabe, Co-Founder and CEO of Perci Health. “This investment will allow us to continue pioneering a model of care that integrates digital innovation with compassionate, specialist-led support, providing better outcomes for everyone living with and beyond cancer.”
With 100 per cent of its directors, 80 per cent of its leadership team, and 60 per cent of its executive board composed of women, Perci Health stands as one of the few UK scale-ups with an all-female founding team
Perci Health: Transforming the survivorship experience
Founded in 2020 by Kelly McCabe and Morgan Fitzsimons, Perci Health provides on-demand, multidisciplinary care across the cancer continuum, connecting individuals with NHS-trained nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, nutritionists, genetic counsellors, and more.
The company delivers personalised care plans that support patients during treatment, recovery, and return to work.
Perci’s virtual clinic includes services ranging from psychological support and physical rehabilitation to nutrition, fertility, and genetic counselling.
In the last year alone, over 3,000 individuals have accessed Perci’s services.
Through partnerships with insurers and employers, the platform is now available to more than 500,000 people across the UK, free of charge.
“With more people living with cancer, there’s an urgent need for healthcare solutions that cater to long-term survivorship,” concludes McCabe. “By working with insurers, employers, and healthcare providers, we aim to reshape cancer care to ensure better outcomes for patients and cost savings for the system.”
