Amsterdam-based PressPage, the commstech platform for streamlining corporate communications and PR work, announced that it has raised €2M in a fresh round of funding.
The investment comes at a time of vast opportunity and growth for PressPage, claims the company. PressPage has witnessed a growth of 150 per cent in bookings and has expanded its service area in the UK and German markets, signing on several triple A-brands as well as growing its team. In just nine months, it has grown its staff by 52 per cent.
Investors in this round
The current round comes via an additional investment from the company’s existing investor, Capital Mills, as well as management participation.
Gijs den Hartog, partner at Capital Mills says, “It is great to invest alongside management and support PressPage in its mission to help communication professionals maximise their impact on long-term corporate reputations. PressPage is a perfect example of the win-win for customers, organisation, and investors that results from capital efficient growth – a strategy we strongly believe in.”
“PR software for industry leading organisations”
Founded in 2008 by Sébastien Willems and Tim van den Tempel, PressPage provides a corporate communications platform that helps organisations to create, publish, host, and distribute company news. It helps them get their stories out with speed and accuracy as well as manage their brand across multiple regions, teams, and channels.
According to PressPage’s current CEO, Jan-Willem Schalkwijk, “PressPage puts the power back in the hands of corporate communications teams allowing them to build and preserve brand reputations while sharing brand stories. These teams operate on their companies’ front line and deserve a technical solution that is tailored to their needs. I am proud to see us give corporate communications teams the platform that will gain them time and space to proactively plan and instantly react when needed.”
PressPage aims to automate parts of the external communication workflow to free communications teams so they can invest more time in strategy, relationships, and creative development.
The platform began by automating the workflow from content creation to distribution and has expanded to support other parts of corporate communication management, including crisis comms.
Currently headquartered in Amsterdam and with offices in the USA, Germany, and the UK, the company serves brands like Booking.com, KLM, Mercedes-Benz, DP World, State Farm, and T-Mobile.
