Amsterdam’s Producthero acquires London-based aisle 3’s Google Comparison Shopping Site service: Know more

Amsterdam-based Producthero, a shopping advertiser and digital marketing agency, announced on Friday, March 17, that it has acquired London-based aisle 3’s Google Comparison Shopping Site (CSS) service in an all-cash deal.

In a LinkedIn post, aisle 3 mentions, “Producthero have acquired our CSS services in an all-cash deal so they can help advertisers with the programme benefits and we can focus on what is a rapidly increasing shopping destination that’s gaining great traction at a3.co.”

Wouter Veenboer, CEO of Producthero, says, “The CSS partner requirements are changing, so it is increasingly important to work with a solid partner. Especially one who continues to invest in their platform and services to help advertisers and agencies make the most of the CSS programme.”

“For us, this is a great opportunity to introduce these merchants to our Shopping Ad platform which allows them to increase the performance of their shopping campaigns,” adds Veenboer.

Founded in 2020 by Thomas J. Vosper, aisle 3 uses AI to combine websites into a single page with a one-click checkout, allowing users to discover and buy from anyone, anywhere, in one location, and receive cashback on each purchase.

Using this technology, merchants can also reach out to untapped markets of potential consumers.

Vosper says “As our business switches focus towards our AI engine, it was important to find the right partner to support the advertisers and agencies who have taken advantage of the ad spend savings through our participation in the CSS programme over the last few years.”

According to BusinessLeader, the funds from this deal will help aisle 3 to expand into the sneaker market and keep improving its patented global product matching algorithm and its Cloud Basket service.
