Raymond van Eck, the CEO of Youvia (formerly known as DTG, Gouden Gids, and De Telefoongids), announced on Tuesday, July 25, that he will step down from his role.
After three and a half years of service, Van Eck is set to embark on a new journey starting from September 1, 2023, focusing on advancing his career outside of the company.
His duties and responsibilities will be handed over to Jon Martinsen, CEO of FCR Media Group.

Raymond successfully led Youvia into a business that integrated seamlessly into the wider FCR Media Group following last year’s acquisition. We appreciate his hard work and therefore look with confidence to the future of Youvia as part of our group,” says Jon Martinsen, CEO at FCR Media Group.
Under Van Eck’s leadership, Youvia underwent a digital transformation journey, successfully reintroducing the Gouden Gids (Yellow Pages) and establishing itself as the go-to destination for online marketing activities for Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in the Netherlands.
The acquisition by FCR Media Group in March 2022 was another significant milestone, further strengthening the Dutch company’s position in the market.
“I am now handing over Youvia to FCR Media Group with peace of mind and full of confidence. After the successful integration and having laid a solid foundation, it is time for me for a new challenge,” says Van Eck.
“But first I will go full steam ahead at Youvia to ensure that everything is completed before I leave. Moreover, I also need my energy to cycle a Tour de Youvia’ of more than 300 kilometers on the road bike as a farewell at the end of August. I plan to cycle past all our offices in The Netherlands in one day to personally say goodbye to all Youvians,” adds Van Eck with a wink.
