Reshift acquires stake in Amsterdam’s ONBRDNG, launches Google Analytics alternative

Haarlem-based Reshift, a Dutch publisher with platforms such as Kieskeurig.nl and Review.nl, has taken a minority stake in Amsterdam’s data technology company ONBRDNG.

The agreement includes the launch of a joint platform, Oncore.ai.

Oncore.ai enables marketers and e-commerce companies to access real-time insights using their first-party data. The move supports Reshift’s ongoing focus on data-based publishing.

In a statement translated from Dutch, Patrick Klink, Managing Director at Oncore.ai, says, “The power of Oncore.ai lies in the smart combination of data, AI and performance insights. We help organisations to switch faster and smarter without being dependent on outdated dashboards or black box tooling.”

Google Analytics counterpart

Oncore.ai is a platform developed by Reshift and ONBRDNG in response to the decreasing availability of real-time insights from tools like Google Analytics. 

Since 2024, the two companies have worked together to create a performance dashboard that integrates various first-party data sources, such as traffic and conversion metrics. 

The platform offers automated dashboards and AI-generated reports, allowing organsations to independently access and use their data without manual analysis.

Originally built for Reshift’s own platforms, the insights provided by Oncore.ai are now available to external parties in e-commerce, retail, and media. 

A first result is the transition of Kieskeurig.nl from CPC to CPS, with campaigns now based on purchases instead of clicks.

CPC (Cost Per Click): Advertisers pay for each click, focusing on traffic. CPS (Cost Per Sale): Advertisers pay only when a sale is made, focusing on actual results.
