Founded in 2013 by David Benigson, Social 360 is a London-based company that specialises in reputation and risk management-focused online monitoring and analysis.
The company caters to clients in the US, EMEA, and APAC, delivering insights and actionable data from millions of online sources.
Aim of the acquisition
Signal AI, a company that claims to be a leader in AI-driven reputation and risk insights, serves over 40 per cent of Fortune 500 companies. Analysing external data across 226 markets and 75 languages, the company helps navigate industry trends, manage reputational shifts, and mitigate risks.
Through the acquisition, Signal AI plans to integrate traditional, social, regulatory, and alternative data sources into a unified platform. Social 360, with its analysis of billions of online pieces from over 90 million sources, will enhance Signal AI’s monitoring platform.
Social 360’s data sets cover fast-paced online content, such as social media, political and regulatory content, and emerging alternative platforms.
The combined companies aim to provide actionable, C-suite level intelligence, synthesising online data to assist companies in managing corporate reputation, mitigating corporate risk, and staying informed on crucial information for advancing corporate priorities.
The integration of Signal AI and Social 360 creates a platform for clients to access consolidated, relevant data. This collaboration enhances risk management, reputation analysis, and crisis support, offering over 2.3 million monthly articles of reputational relevance from 185,000+ sources.
