Spacelift raises nearly €13M to help DevOps teams manage their infrastructure-as-code performance; here’s how

Poland and US-based Spacelift, a platform for DevOps teams to manage their infrastructure-as-code (IaC) performance for maximum optimisation of scaling businesses, announced that it has secured $15M (approx €12.95M) in its Series B round of funding.

The round was led by Insight Partners with participation from existing investors Blossom Capital, Inovo Venture Partners, and Hoxton Ventures.

The proceeds from this round will help the company to scale its management platform for IaC in the US market, quadruple engineering headcount in Europe, and build a sales and marketing organisation in the US.

Management platform for Infrastructure-as-Code

According to Spacelift, managing cloud infrastructure has become more complex in the last few years. There are only a few tools available in the market to help teams of developers manage infrastructure-as-code at scale. 

Pawel Hytry, co-founder & COO at Spacelift, says, “Over the past few years, IT organisations relied on generic CI/CD tools, open-source components, and custom-made solutions to manage their infrastructure. With increasing infrastructure complexity and the development of infrastructure as code, this approach proves unscalable and error-prone.”

Spacelift also claims to encompass the complete set of IaC frameworks including Terraform, Pulumi, and CloudFormation, with Ansible coming soon.
