Startup Events for the coming week: e-Commerce Demo Day, New Business Summit and Startup Tech Event

The new year is taking off with a bang with three major events taking place in the third week of January: on Wednesday January 18th Startupbootcamp will hold its E-Commerce Demoday in Utrecht, on Thursday the 19th the New Business Summit will take over the Hague, and on Friday the 20th nine new HvA startups will present themselves at the Startup Tech Event in Amsterdam.

Wednesday January 18th: Startupbootcamp E-Commerce Demo Day

After three intense months, Startupbootcamp’s 2016 E-commerce Accelerator Program is finishing up. The ten finalists will present themselves to an audience (which is hopefully consisting of many keen investors). One of them is Feli, who we wrote about before.

Thursday January 19th: New Business Summit, The Hague

On 19 January World Startup Factory together with the Municipality of The Hague organise a New Business Summit. It will be an eventful day with interactive sessions, where corporates, startups and public institutions will discuss how to approach several societal challenges. At the end of the day Impact City The Hague will host a pitch competition for The Hague Innovators Challenge 2017 , where the winner can walk away with a whopping 30.000 €uros.

Friday January 20th: Startup Tech Event, Amsterdam

Nine new tech-startups from the HvA Startup TechCentre will present themselves to an audience during the fifth edition of the HvA Startup Tech Event. There will also be interesting guest speakers such as Enterpreneur and DJ Sebastiaan van Hooft, Lifehacker Martijn Aslander and entrepreneur Victor van Doorn. Some of the startups from previous Tech Events will also talk about their successes.  This is a great chance to learn about nine promising new tech companies and again attendance is free (don’t you just love all thhese free events?)!
