Calling all developers & tech talent: Here are the top events/conferences to attend in Amsterdam this quarter

|

|

Last update:

Many developers or tech talents attend meet-ups and conferences to learn something new, whether it’s about a particular subject or something they’ve never heard of before.

Because when it comes to learning, sharing is very important. Exchange of knowledge can help developers in their own or their company’s growth.

Events/conferences also offer networking opportunities for developers. They discuss ideas and technology that may be difficult to understand or even simply meet new people from their industry. They can exchange thoughts, benefit from one another’s knowledge and foster mutual growth.

And if nothing else, the friend you make here can also lead to future collaboration or to even simply meet someone at the next gathering you attend.

Today, we have listed eight tech events and conferences that are happening in Amsterdam this quarter. Do check them out.

KotlinConf’23

Dates: April 12 – Workshops | April 13, 14 – Conference

You’ll be able to view the summit keynotes and other sessions with other members of the community and learn about the most recent developments in Kotlin. This is the fourth year for the event, with the first three having sold out.

The conference will kick off with the first day of workshops – April 12. You can choose one workshop in addition to the conference pass. JetBrains will be streaming KotlinConf 2023 live. Get your tickets here.

KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe | Linux Foundation Events

Date: April 18-21

The flagship conference of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation will convene users and innovators from the leading open-source and cloud-native groups in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Kubernetes and other cloud native technologies allow faster software development while costing less than conventional infrastructure. Cloud-native application design, which involves managing containers as part of a microservices framework, is a departure from conventional application design.

The Cloud Native Computing Foundation is assisting in the creation of a map through this new terrain, and KubeCon + CloudNativeCon is where the community gathers to share their knowledge on this previously uncharted but increasingly common area.

SGF-Cybersecurity Week

Date: May 15-19

SGF-Cybersecurity Week 2023 brings together more than 120 power grid CISOs and their IT and OT cybersecurity leads for a week-long review of recent cybersecurity implementations as well as the opportunity to collaborate and work together to get the power grid ahead of the threat.

The conference is building on the success of the numerous cybersecurity conferences, seminars, and webinars run by Smart Grid Forums in the previous few years.

A lecture on administration starts the week. The event proceeds with a 3-day main conference that addresses both technological strategies and solutions that can allow IT-OT merging of the power grid protection function and the major global issues affecting the industry in these geopolitically difficult times.

A cloud cybersecurity workshop that concludes the week gives power infrastructure teams the knowledge and assurance they need to support a more widespread move to the cloud.

In addition to the case-study agenda, the conference will also have a robust peer networking and technology scouting programme that will allow you to meet new people and consider potential collaboration possibilities.
