Borssele, The Netherlands-based VAM WaterTech, a company specialised in water treatment and recycling in the agrifood sector, is being acquired by Managing Director Hans Blaak together with Luxembourg-based ORAXYS and France’s SWEN Capital Partners.

The acquisition is aimed at accelerating growth in Europe, North America, and Asia and developing new solutions to provide solutions for other varieties of vegetable crops.

VAM WaterTech: Developing water reuse technology

Founded in 1995 in Zeeland by Eduard van Antwerpen, who is no longer with the company following this transaction, VAM WaterTech designs, develops and manufactures modular equipment for water treatment and recycling.

The systems are designed to meet the specific needs of global customers, including industrial agrifood processors, packers, and retailers.

The company’s solutions are known for their efficiency, reliability, and ease of use. They enable closed-cycle processes to reduce the use of clean water by up to 95 per cent, especially for washing and rinsing vegetables.

The Dutch company works with agri-food industry players to provide food safety to consumers.
