On Monday, Barcelona-based Wallbox, a smart electric vehicle charging and energy management provider, announced that it has secured $10M (approximately €9.5M) in a funding round.
The investors who backed the company include Inversiones Financieras Perseo, S.L. (Iberdrola’s subsidiary), Orilla Asset Management, and Enric Asunción, CEO and Co-Founder.
Additionally, several long-standing shareholders also participated in the round.
The investment was made through a private placement of 26,707,142 Class A ordinary shares, raising approximately $10M from existing investors.
The private placement closed on February 21, 2025.

The announcement comes six months after raising €41.72M in funding in 2024.
